Parfum Parfait

When my Burberry London bottle finished almost a year and a half ago I started looking for the right smell. Something
flowery,
unusual,

subtle,
unknown (so not from a big fashion house like prada or burberry or chanel etc) and something
super girly.

I've been through 2 or 3 different perfumes since then.. The green tea Bulgari scent, Lollia's Breathe (also very secret, I've only seen it sold at one place).. And lately I've been really into Couture Couture by Juicy couture (embarassing.. I know).

I always knew my mom had great taste in perfumes, especially when she finally found her signature scent, and in my opinion.. the BEST smelling perfume ever (Eclats d'Arpeges by Lanvin). So when she offered to buy me a gift to say thank you for planning her wedding, I knew I wanted her to help me pick out a perfume.

I didnt want the same one as her because I wanted something that was just me, almost cmpletely unknown (Ive been to those make-your-own places. but the scents just dont come out right)... so anyways we went to a parfumerie and I tried to describe to the sales woman what I wanted..she was picking out all the wrong things...prada,versace, moschino..YUCK. And then, there on the bottom shelf the pretty aray of classicly simple yet girly bottles caught my mom's attention.

She excitedly went on to tell me how on her honey moon in Paris she was near a parfumerie and smelled Annick Goutal's scents (almost 25 years ago!) and how much she liked them and asked the sales lady to show me.

well oh my god..i'm in love.

Petite Cherie smells like soap and pears..

its a blend of vanilla, peach, musked roses and some other secret ingredients.
The bottle is perfectly mysterious..apart from a little tag, there is no way for someone who isnt up to par with the perfume world to even find out what this scent is and its so light that it smells like part of you.

Im obsessed..love it. Also.. it seems to go perfectly with the seasons floral obsession.. i just know its going to match my new wardrobe

parfait

:)
