The Morning After

Montreal nightlife can really take its toll on a young soul. Especially a rich young soul (which i am no longer due to.. some family business issues). Not me though, because after a tough, gin&bass filled night i just put on a BIG pair of sunglasses, tie my hair up and put on a pair of Juicy Couture Velour sweatpants.

its reminding people that even though I look like shit, I have the ability to sometimes look good when i care enough not to wear sweatpants.

and that, my lovely bellas is why juicy track pants = my hangover attire of choice

So, I've been looking for a shearling jacket, as those of you who follow are aware of my obsession know i've been hunting for one... I want a real one, but my student's budget is not currently allowing it.

Well, I was back home this weekend and decided to check Value Village for some 80s floral jumpsuits. Passing by the vintage jackets I saw stars.

A Vintage Laurence Roy 100% leather (suede) jacket with 100% sheep skin trim and nylon/cotton lining. Shoulder pads, buckles, rouching. this baby was bomb.

and only, wait for it...

$19.99!!

too good to be true you say? Well, it is... the jacket is a large so it will need work and the shoulder pads as much as I'll miss'em have to go :( And there's not as much trim as I'd like, but hey.. still a steal!

Little Red Riding Hood does Haute Couture

Even though I know I love Thakoon's Fall 2010 RTW collection.. I just don't know why.

The palette consists of greys, blacks, creams, whites, blues and a splash of yellow, and sometimes a deep red.

Texturally speaking, theres fur, frills, pleats, drapery, shearness and an eerie delicateness to the collection.

Its almost like an dark German fairytale set in a cold, etheral landscape.

If i could, I would definately buy that second jacket, its beautiful, Im loveing the hoods and the white hosiery as well as the cuffs.

funny, I bought a pair of cream pantyhose from AA while I was home and wasn't sure how I would wear them.. now I know.
